Pack test research

The Research, Design, Results Project is a joint initiative between SR LABS, a company specializing in neuroscience applications for R&D, and Gollmann Agency, a consulting firm focused on product marketing.
Client Needs:
- Enhance product recognizability
- Eliminate issues during the labeling phase
- Incorporate new legal/regulatory information (environmental/nutritional)
- Streamline production costs
Project Objectives:
- Redesign of the label layout
- Review of the printing substrate and resolution of labeling complications.
- Assessment of the new layout’s effectiveness compared to the previous version.
Methodologies e technologies
Research activities can be conducted using both quantitative and qualitative methods, within either digital or real-world settings.
Analisi Packaging and ADV
Preference test, Shelf test, Face Emotion Recognition.
Comparison between packaging and on-screen or on-shelf layouts to evaluate effectiveness and identify key influences during the purchase process. Analysis of the target audience’s emotional engagement to determine which elements are most active.”
Usability and UX
Tests dedicated to evaluating the effectiveness of websites, e-commerce platforms, apps, DM, and any communication collateral. Study of a site’s information architecture and the average user journeys followed to reach specific goals. Analysis of CTA performance and the effective consumption of copy and microcopy.
Shopper Experience
Analysis of the shopping experience in real-world, simulated, and virtual environments. Monitoring of perception and exploration, measuring visual experience and interaction. In-depth evaluation of consumer behavior and the actual shelf performance of a finished product against competitors or various packaging solutions.
Online Eye Tracking
- What is it?
It is a test designed to measure human eye movements.
It is a test designed to measure human eye movements.
- What is it for?
It enables the evaluation of product attractiveness and verifies which elements draw the most attention from participants and which are ignored. - How does it work?
Participants are shown a product on a computer screen and instructed to observe it for a set amount of time.
Heatmap
Visual Attention Distribution: Visualizing how attention is distributed across the stimulus. Heatmaps: These represent the gaze density (the points where the eye lingers), collected independently of time.
Mouse Click Analysis
- What is it?
It is a test that measures the visibility and recognizability of specific product elements.
- What is it for?
It provides an immediate evaluation of participant preferences regarding specific elements of the bottle (or packaging).
- How does it work?
Participants are shown media on a computer screen and instructed to use the mouse to select the two elements of the stimulus they prefer.
