The Technical Set Up
In the case of graphical user interfaces related to the use of computer software, the tests are “fed” by the versions of eye-trackers integrated into a monitor (Tobii 1750 and 2150). This will fully reproduce the normal context in which the interface is actually used.
To offer these opportunities there are, once again, different tracking devices that SR LABS is able to utilize. » TV spots can be tested in the original format (using a plasma TV, a wall projection etc). » Print advertising can be evaluated in isolation or in the context in which it is inserted (magazine, page of the newspaper, etc). » The packaging may be viewed and manipulated "live" without resorting to digital stimuli. |

Thanks to the multiple versions of “eye-trackers” available and the continuous updating of new media, communication and technology, SR LABS is able to choose from; depending on the type of test and the environment in play, the best technological solution. In this way, one can always arrange the testing environment (setting) “ecologies”, ensuring the complete lack of invasiveness on the part of the users.
User interfaces which commonly do not interact with conventional tools (monitor, keyboard and mouse), are tested using a technology possessing different characteristics (TobiiX50) that records eye movements in any environment/context.
