iAble® Modules iAble® MAIL To manage the e-mail This module allows to receive e-mail, compose messages through virtual keyboards, manage attachments (texts or images) and create an address book. iAble® INTERNET To browse the world-wide-web The module allows the user to browse a web page through virtual keyboards, to manage multiple sessions and save favourite web sites. Full interaction with online forms is supported. The internet module has a dedicated system for selection and confirmation of links, specifically designed to avoid conflicts between the explorative and command activity. iAble® PHONE To communicate by phone through VoIP technology Skype technology is used to allow voice calls (managed in speakerphone mode or through speech synthesis) and to send SMS. Calls can be placed to both Skype contacts or landline and mobile phone numbers.
iAble® VOICE To vocalize what has been written This module has been designed for vocal communication. It allows to compose messages through standard virtual keyboards or keyboards equipped with predictive system, to select messages from pre-filled subject tables, to recover messages previously composed and saved by the user. A speech synthesis software allows to transpose in voice what is written or selected.The System is also capable of automatic learning of words not already in the vocabulary and updating of the same. Prevention of misspellings by a warning sound. iAble® NOTES To save text and images Through this module the user can manage a personal archive of notes, in which images and text written or received as e-mail attachments can be stored in a novel and intuitive way. iAble® BOOKS To read or listen to books in electronic format The module permits to read or listen to books in electronic format. The book is formatted and displayed in an high-accessible way. The library can grow by downloading new books as soon as they are available.
iAble® WRITE To create and edit complex documents The module allows to create, format and save a complex text document. iAble® DOMOTIC To remotely control domestic devices This module allows to remotely control external devices. iAble® can control lights, roller blinds, bed headboards, heating, air conditioner, household appliances through the use of an infrared remote control supplied with the application. iAble® COMMUNITY To share images, documents, etc. The module permits iAble® users to share items and to interact in recreational activities.
